Phase 1.5 Operating Protocol

Posted June 11, 2020

During phase 1.5 we ask all members to adhere to the following protocol.

Before coming to the gym please ask yourself the following questions:

  • Have you been in close contact with a confirmed case of COVID-19?
  • Are you experiencing a cough, shortness of breath or sore throat?
  • Have you had a fever in the last 48 hours?
  • Have you had a loss of taste or smell?
  • Have you had vomiting or diarrhea in the last 24 hours?

If the answer is yes to any of the above questions, we ask that you please cancel your appointment.

Please note: We will not be able to supply you with a sweat towel or shower service during this phase. Please bring your own towel.

When arriving at Rival:

  • Please do not enter building until your trainer has come to get you. He or she will meet you at the front door to escort you inside. If the trainer is not there to let you in, you may text your trainer.
  • Masks must be worn in the lobby area at all times (both when entering and leaving the gym).
  • When entering, please sanitize your hands using the disinfectant wipes that are located at the door entrance.
  • Once inside, your trainer will ask you the following questions:
    • Have you been in close contact with a confirmed case of COVID-19?
    • Are you experiencing a cough, shortness of breath or sore throat?
    • Have you had a fever in the last 48 hours?
    • Have you had a loss of taste or smell?
    • Have you had vomiting or diarrhea in the last 24 hours?
  • Once the trainer has asked you the above questions and all is good, you will sign into the gym and then you will both proceed to your designated training area. There will be one trainer per area within the gym. We ask that you play your part in distancing yourself by at least six feet within these areas.
  • We highly encourage you to continue to wear your mask during your training session. Your trainer will be required to wear mask during the training session.
  • Your trainer will be responsible for wiping down all equipment with disinfectant before and after being used.
  • There will only be two people allowed in the restroom area at one time.

We sincerely appreciate you following this protocol. We are striving to create a safe environment so that eventually we can get back to a better normal.
